Choose a high-quality dashboard polish suitable for your car's interior material. Ensure it does not leave a greasy residue and offers UV protection.
Steps:
1. Clean the Dashboard: Wipe down the dashboard with a microfiber cloth or use a mild interior cleaner to remove dust and debris.
2. Apply Polish: Shake the polish well before use. Put a small amount onto a clean, soft applicator pad or directly onto the dashboard.
3. Spread Evenly: Gently spread the polish over the dashboard surface. Use circular motions for an even application.
4. Buffing: Allow the polish to dry for a few minutes. Then, use a clean microfiber cloth to buff the dashboard. Buff in a circular motion until a glossy finish is achieved.
5. Avoid Excess: Use the polish sparingly to prevent a sticky or greasy residue. Focus on small sections at a time.
6. Repeat if Necessary: For deeper shine, repeat the process. However, excessive use may attract dust, so use moderation.
7. Finishing Touch: Wipe off any excess polish from surrounding areas like the windshield or navigation screen.
